I got tired of waiting for that Obama stuff (long and loud) to end and
turned off the radio. I came back later and got a QSO. I think he detected
people having trouble with the QRM and was real good about sending each call
twice when coming back. It was appreciated. I see mine was the same time
as yours, 2324z. Guess that was the Kansas time slot.

I spoke too soon,
30m QRM was as bad or worse yesterday afternoon as 20m cw was the first day
Having needed that band, I stuck with it starting at 3pm local when I
got home from work.
After over 3 hours I had a QSO whereas I could actually hear my full
call at 2324z.

He was good signal enough the entire time but CW QRM was bad, real bad.
Someone sent " Obama is great" really slow cw for a long long long time.
I figure the poor fellow needed health care. Seemed to me he did.
I hope he gets it. The type of psychiatric services needed here will
be costly I am sure.

I just wasn't willing to let the lids get the best of it. I believe it
was EU QRM.

I wanted at least "A NEW BAND" out of this "UP UP" " QSY QSY" is
still playing in my head.

My ears are ringing. Even a few FU FU .

When you thought QSB and weak signal work was bad, The new challenge of
DX'ing.
