Hi Kit,
Thank you for considering the W5YI testing session.
W5YI testing sessions are held on the third Saturday of every month at 9 a.m. at the Blue Valley Library just west of 151/Antioch. Bring a copy of your ham license (if already a ham), photo-id, and $14. You may bring a calculator for the math problems.
During the testing session, you will be given the test and the answer sheet. Please write only on the answer sheet. When finished, please remain seated, raise you hand, and a VE will collect your test and answer sheet. Your test will be immediately graded, and you will be notified within a few minutes whether you passed or failed the test.
Upon successfully passing the test, Jim Lee will electronically send in the test results and appropriate forms. Normally, you should see your call sign within 3 or 4 business days after taking the test.
For additional information, please contact Jim Lee at JimLee at kc.rr.com W5YI testing coordinator.
Good Luck,
Jim - AC0KN
W5YI - VE

At the last meeting, I heard that there was regular testing somewhere
in JoCo on the third Saturday of the month. That Saturday is fast
approaching; where is the testing being held?
