[KCDXC] need wiring assistance

Hello all,
 
Have a question one of you may know before I have to tear apart my Koss Pro/4AA headphones.  The stereo plug came off the other day.  I have notified Koss in WI twice and they refuse to tell me the wiring.  They want me to ship it back to them so they can wire it.  For info, there is a red, black and white wires on the coiled cable...plug is stereo. 
 
Anyone know how to tell the wiring without tearing it apart???
