Presentation by WD0BW on using the Leavenworth Community center as a location for the W0DXCC Convention in 2011. Motion was made and seconded and voted on for using this facility.

Still need to come up with a time frame for the convention. I have attached the handouts from the meeting. If everybody could take a look at the calendar and note which dates WILL NOT work for you and either submit them at next months meeting or email me "ks1ang at yahoo.com" so we can get a good idea of a time frame. Don (WD0BWM) and I are working together to form a calendar of events for Ham Contesting and local major events going on in the Greater KC Metro area, so those dates could be avoided. 

Guest speaker was George W0AV,,very good speaker! He told stories of his time in Germany while in the military, was a delight to listen to him, and I'm sure he could've went on all night telling stories as a lot of us would have gladly sat and listened. Thank You George. 

Meeting was then adjourned,,,,and then pie was served. :)
