Good morning Don,
I have 200 feet I will donate. How many PL-259 connectors would you like?

Subject: [KCDXC] Coax
Good Morning Reflector Members,
Yesterday Duncan, KU0DM, sent out a request for assistance on coax and tubes
for the KU amateur radio station. I received an email from him stating he
thought he had a source for the coax. Apparently it fell through.
I thought we could get several people to donate a little bit and we could
have enough to buy the coax needed for the radio club. He has requested
200' of RG-8 type low loss coax.
I'm not sure what the best way to collect donations and get them to one
place. My thought was to maybe have everyone get money to Associated Radio.
My thought was to see if this can be done so that they can install coax
maybe this coming weekend if that is their plan since the weather is
supposed to be better than last few days at my last check.
Anyone interested in donating toward coax. I'll start with at least
$30.00-$40.00. I'd be very happy to hear from several of you for $5 or $10
or whatever you can and want to donate. I'll go and see what the coax will
cost us this morning and report back here.
Thanks to all for your time and assistance.

No trees were knowingly harmed in any way during the production and
transmission of this message. A rather large number of electrons were
somewhat inconvenienced however.
