[KCDXC] VERTICLES...SHMERTICLES

Don:been my experience that Overland Park "dirt" is incompatible with verticals of all types but especially butternut verticles which are a 1st cousin to butternut testicles.  I personally believe that OP dirt is too clean.   This is because "OP dirt' has to meet OP specifications before it is allowed into Overland Park.  The only exception to this is "Native Overland Park Dirt" which itself has to undergo rigorous testing and examination to determine it's exact origins.  I don't have to tell you an EE that super clean dirt ie. "OP Dirt" has been found to have a "lack of conductivity".
I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor and would refer you to Mike (AB0X) who uses Wyandotte County dirt, Fred (N0XA) who swears by Miami County Dirt and Lee (K0LW) who after rolling in Missouri dirt was able to work K5D on LF (The only recorded QSO).73, Tom...N0AG

First, what is the latest on Johnny W0JM that can be known???

Second, does anyone have an antenna anylizer in the Overland Park area that they rent out???  I have a Butternut HF6V-X I'm having trouble getting resonant where I want it.  Everytime I think I have the low bands good, adjust something for the higher bands, then the low bands are messed up again.  Instructions say that shouldn't happen so I must not have the low bands right to start out.

Thanks,

No trees were knowingly harmed in any way during the production and transmission of this message. A rather large number of electrons were somewhat inconvenienced however.
