Last Thursday Johnny fell going up the steps to Waid's restaurant and the
QCWA lunch.  No one inside knew this had occurred.  When he also did not
appear at other events a search ensued late Saturday and Sunday.  On Sunday
I found him in Overland Park Regional hospital, having been in ICU and moved
that day to a regular room.  He has talked some, but most of the time sleeps
and is not very communicative.  Since he had not been talking, we did not
know where he fell until I found his car today in Waid's parking lot.  We
obtained the keys from hospital security and Wilbur has moved it to his
house.  John is in room 4826 at OP Regional.

As if we haven't seen enough, Johnny. W0JM, apparently was in an auto
accident some number of days ago. He is in OP Regional Medical Center and
has been unconscious since being checked in. He has a broken arm, cracked
hip, concussion, and bruised all over. This information  is fairly accurate,
but I don't' have solid information. Please excuse any errors I may have
made, Johnny is still in serious condition.



Wilbur, W0DEL and Bill, AK0A are probably the most knowledgeable regarding
Johnny's situation.  I sure hope he pulls through this one, it will be a
battle on his part.
