Gentlemen,
FD is quite a busy day. Not sure the attendance would be very good at that location as many of the guys must be engaged. Not to mention weekends are typically family intensive days for a lot of us as well. Seems the attendance would be low...
May I also know what the advantage of the K0GQ QTH provides over the JC library? The attendance at the library has been quite improved vs. downtown and I had thought the consensus was this location was FB.
Of course, I am not on the cutting edge of the club decisions due to the losey economy and a lot of more lousy business travel.
Sorry to ask a question in the event I'm catching up on a decision that the club as a whole had made some time back???

Your email is in conflict with the published meeting information on the
website. Per two places on the website, the meeting is scheduled for the
29th.
I don't know of a single organization that would allow the president to
change a meeting time, date and location less than a week prior to the event
just because, "He Wants To".
With all the Field Day sites that are available in the KC area, scheduling a
regular KCDXC meeting in conjunction with another clubs FD activity is a bad
idea.
I suggest you reconsider.
73,
Bob N0UF

Invitation
KCDXC Members,
Field Day gathering at K0GQ (Sat. noon) will be our official meeting for
the month of June. I was waiting for another location info, but K0GQ will be
location for the KCDXC to meet together this year.
Please consider being there on Saturday morning, but Friday and Saturday
nights probably will be even better and will have more space for operators.
If you come on Saturday- at noon burgers and hot dogs will be cooked at
noon-you have to operate 3 hours SSB and 1 HR CW for it (hi-hi).
Common over and operate from this fine FD position- meet our friend from
RARC.
Please contact Barbara or I if you have any questions.
Very 73's and have some fun during ARRL Field Day!

Alex, KU1CW-KCDXC President.
