Hi Lee

 

I have not had any reply from my email to the KCDX Club President about
promoting our meeting to your club's membership.

 

Can you send out a note by email to your members or can I?

 

I do hope to see you along with K4SV on the 18th.

 

Here is the message:

 

We have organized a big ham radio event in Rochester for July 18th on HF
Dxing and Contesting. It will cost $25.00 for admission for the full day.

latest Yaesu HF equipment present, Force 12 antennas will be present and
Radio City is planning on being there. We have gone to considerable expense
to bring the Who's who of HF dxing and contesting to Rochester including the
desecho gang (W0GJ, K0IR and others), ON4UN who wrote the Low Band Dxing
book, N6BV who wrote the ARRL Antenna book, K9LA a noted propagation expert,
NC0B, the leading receiver critic in the USA and Ward Silver, N0AX, author
of Ham radio for dummies. We have raffle prizes present (2 new HF radios, a
new key, other things) and a nice banquet.
