Dunc was able to run pileup, judge in most accurate way and get results posted all on his own-at least few times. Without PC's pileup evening would require support of 10 people and was off +/-10% in results.

Some other facts:
For years just or selected few at the club knew about plans for Dayton-so no plans no problems, right? Once announced-we have a problem, even with most obvious upgrades participant were asking us before? Once again-100% proven sucess with 2009 updates.

For example has anyone at the club knew that there was a plan to outsource pileup to another club few years ago? Without committee or club announcement at all!

Special thanks to N0SS, K0VBU, N0RB and AB0X for keeping pileup and KCDXC suite together for the years.

Equipment was not upgraded for 20+ years and was somewhat dangerous to run. Open chassis amp with 120AC exposed next to participants. Was replaced this year. New one is safe and very light.

BTW-I would say we need 6 pairs of better headphones for the next year.
Probably $120-140.

Year 2009 was first year ARRL has advertised pileup-was rejected year before 'due to language' and no one have asked them to advertise before as well. 2009 Participation was #4 ever.

That was 3 man committee and K0RU was one of the members. Rob have tried PC pileup long time before meeting and had no big issues with it back then.
Paper was provided for the contest as well.

I have spent a LOT of time and effort to get NICE selection of prizes, not 'just a prizes'. Probably best selection ever as well.

A lot of time to get SW and setup running. Was working almost flawlesly.

I did nothing wrong to the club and really cared on getting solid base we all would be able work at for years to come. I have made decisions to create comitees on most important issues, but did not made direction changing desicions on my own. Attendance is up twice and membership as well.
Yes, should of handle situation with Rob differently, but his statement was a big shock for me after all stuff he have learned and discussed together about the setup. Will talk with Rob about it one day.

Alex
