To All Members:In regards to the removal of an officer (President, Alex KU1CW) vote, the procedural committee has formulated a process where each member will be contacted through their e-mail address individually and given voting information.
Each member will be given instructions whereupon they will be directed to a page on the KCDX Club website. They will enter their personalized information and then be asked whether they wish to retain or remove the current officer in question.
This voting process is much like the one utilized for the constitutional approval vote. Because of nature of this vote and some security concerns the vote will be simultaneously forwarded to at least three members of the procedural committee for tabulation.
The voting will be closed at 2400 hours CDT (Midnight) on July 20, 2009. The Committee will meet to tabulate the vote, the vote will be recorded and all copies of individual votes will be destroyed. There will be one copy of individual votes kept on digital media to resolve potential voting conflicts. This copy will be kept in a secure location and unavailable to anyone other than the procedural committee. The voting results will be announced at the July 27, 2009 KCDX Club meeting and placed on the website.
The procedural committee is simply trying to assure a fair and accurate vote on this very serious issue before the club. In order for us to do our jobs we are attempting to concentrate solely on this task. We are not mediators.73, Tom...NØAG
