Jim,
You have been out since 1982 (27 years) and know about club mostly by two days in Dayton or by occasional e-mail and it's not a real thing. Are you a member of any club in Texas? Must be. Which one? I really would like to know. I would like to take a look at their WEB and see if they use 'somehow existing' as words to describe normally functioning organization with the future. "There is little doubt that the club has been loosely ran for these past many year. But the club has somehow made it through all these years." Somehow, but you know pretty much about only 7 of them. I think since I was with club 14 years locally I may see a bit more and not by e-mail or telephone.
I was talking about your e-mail to me and not to Rob.
"Let me give you a huge piece of advice. Do not get sideways with the
founders of this fine club." ... and other 'advices'.
Listen, I don't need advices like that and really don't care about it in either way. Period. Not too nice? Sorry, it is well deserved in this particular case(s). I probably may use some constructive advices from you in the future.
Why after 35 years as a club member did not care about writing history of the club for new members to learn from? They will learn it 'somehow'? Sound too loose, but we will try to fix it in next few month.
I don't know what have you done for club in last 27 years? What was it?
I really tired to push this senseless e-mails back and force just to hear other accusations. Positive action with measurable results is a better way to confirm things. Time will show.
 Alex
