[KCDXC] CW Pile Up test

Guys,
I learned to type and copy code at the same time while in the Army
(which is a story for another time!). I had to teach myself how to copy
with a "stick" later as a ham. Something about the rhythm of copying
with a "mill" was hard for me to break.
After 30+ years since the Army Days I copy with a stick as easily as a
keyboard. That said; Dayton is supposed to be about fun, fellowship and
seeing the latest new toys. Keep it fun.
I spend a good share of my time in front of a keyboard making things
easier and faster and more accurate. I would opt for the pencil at this
point in time for the simple reason I am out of practice with the
keyboard. Who knows what keyboard characteristics you will encounter at
Dayton.
My vote is with Mr. Crabtree.

They are generally older guys who have been doing this for 25+years. It is just part of the "Dayton experience" for many of them. Most of these guys and gals are not really competitive and will score in the 25-30 range and have never won a prize for their score.

I am certain this group will want to use a pencil or pen and paper. They may have computer experience with logging programs, but they would choose a pencil every time over the computer for accuracy. Most don't type fast and still feel a little uncomfortable with a computer.

They may not be the upper flight of CW ops anymore, but they are not that bad and they often are the ones who will give us all new countries and often have the connections necessary to get into some of the rare spots.
