 Sad, sad news-KCDXC president, great DX-man and simply great guy Tom Rose passed away while on vacation.
 Tom did a superb job while a president of the KCDXC, donated his antennas to the Salvation Army when he moved to HOA with no antenna options. He has build nice attic setup in HOA and was always into exploring new things, even with old good ham radio. I was planning on picturing his setup for "100W contesting" presentation for the Sept.22 meeting-still will try to do that. 
 I personally invited him to our last meeting, but he said that something else was scheduled and have promised to be at the next meeting...
 RIP my Friend, RIP.
