I worked my first VK on 160m Saturday morning. No JA yet!

VK9DWX  Willis showed up and I managed 160m just before SR Monday.
I must have missed his first response as I heard him send my call 4 times!
Lots of power noise always for me.
He was calling CQ CQ and more CQ's by our SR. And more CQ's and CQ.
Very good copy, even loud!,  by then and would have been a lot easier to
copy (work?)!

I heard Fred N0XA slice easily and gracefully through the really massive
pileup on 30m for 9L1X Saturday. Iffy first contact for me but I managed to
hack my way through with my dull butter knife station 2 hours later!
9L new 30m.

5N/LZ1QK very active the bands and a new 30m Saturday for me..

49 Flashbacks?
Remember when Rick called the DX net on 146.49 and read the up coming DX
announcements?
Or About a half dozen locals all calling out QSX's on the big splits.
Or chatting with Fred about installing his used garage lift in his barn
while looking for new ones on 12 meters?
The days!
