This sounds very familiar to me. Back in the early 90's some folks from up
in MN accused Rick and our sorters of stealing from the money and stamps
that were sent into the buro. There are a select few of our northern
brethren that thought that the turn around time on a QSL should be about a
week.
Lew Gordon K4VX, our ARRL divisional guy came to KC to examine the books. He
found nothing to support the allegations. What he did not know, until later,
was that some of us were prepared to send the whole mess to his house in
Hannibal, MO by UPS collect.
A bunch of cry babies can cause a volunteer to say ADIOS! I can guarantee
you that if one is to steal money and stamps it would be for a lot more
money than the little, and I mean little, that comes into the buro.
Wonder what really happened?
