We are just back home from the Dayton HamVention, tired but happy.  It
was a pleasure seeing many of you there.  Congratulations to N9RV for
coming in #1 in the Kansas City DX Club's annual pileup competition,
and winning an Icom IC-7000 transceiver (!) by copying 56 callsigns
and to W9WI for second place with 54.  I (KE3Q) was very pleased to
come in third with 53, though that rig sure would have been nice!
Young KB0VVT, Rebecca, had an excellent 35.  And congrats to various
"new guys" brave enough to give it a try, who may have copied as few
as just one callsign, but it's a start!
