I spent yesterday morning teaching my 5 yr old son CW.  I started out by
teaching him how to spell his name, then started with the numbers.  He
caught on very quickly.  Once he saw the patterns for 1 and 2, he
started giving me the next numbers.  He got a little confused with 6,
but recovered quickly with 8, 9, and 0.
 
Who says it's hard to learn the code???
