Fellow ZEROES: - Not 0 but Ø

Just received this from my friend Clark, W8TN. (THE METHOD WORKS)
IMPORTANT: Don't forget that the (ALT - Ø216) must be typed from the KEYPAD and not the MAIN KEYBOARD.
The Ø will appear after you let up on the ALT key.

Guys,

I just found out how to type a slashed zero (Ø) in
Windows. Previously I had been using Microsoft Word and Insert
Symbol to paste one into a Word document and then copy/paste to where ever
else I needed it. But tonight on the WVDXA Chat Page, we discussed it and
the answer was found.

Hold down the ALT key (just like a SHIFT key) while you type Ø216 on
the keypad. That will cause a Ø to be inserted in your
document after you release the ALT key. KØCS. Cool!

However, you MUST use the keypad and not the numbers at the top of
the keyboard, and, NUM LOCK must be turned on. Other than that, it's a snap.

I tried to do it years ago but got frustrated (as always when dealing
with Windows) but I think I was using the numbers at the top of the
keyboard. Now I know the trick.

The Ø will appear after you let up on the ALT key.
