Yes, I well know Igor RA3AUU and personally with him is familiar.
The matter is that it is impossible to work from other country Russian
callsign and to transfer "slesh a local prefix". Russia is not member CEPT,
for reception of the license for work it is necessary to have many documents
from local radioamateur service. It is easier to use American callsign, and
to work from many countries of the world using "slesh a local prefix" of the
country.
In Russia many have American callsign and frequently use them in
dx-peditions. And to the American in Russia Russian callsign to receive it
is impossible, and what for?
Yes, I have really told to that we shall beat RA1AW because he occupied
position PJ2T. It was the joke!
