[KCDXC] Rope and stuff

Hi Gents,

While shopping for 1000 ft of nylon rope at "Harry J. Epstein",
merchandise brokers, SE corner 8th & Central, downtown KCMO,
I saw a pair of Swedish FIELD PHONES, made by Erickson.
They were in a canvas bag, had a crank on the side for signaling,
(cool!), used 2 'D' cell batteries.  I think the price was $30/pair.

Also they have some LARGE compasses...heh heh, for antenna
layout work, @ around $47, solid brass.

Free parking just South of the store.
