Just a quick note to say thanks to the KCDXC guys who got on the air and
worked us at PJ2T during the ARRL DX SSB contest. Although it appears to be
closer.. we have some indication that we may have wrapped up a second world
#1 win.
Outside the contest, Jeannie and I had a wonderful time playing in the sun,
on the beach, snorkling, around the pool overindulging in sunshine and
beverage.
Even got on the radio a few times to work 39 countries and 350 or so
contacts on 160M a couple of evenings including:
RA6,HK1,RX3,K,VA6,SV1,WP4,CO8,IK1,VE3,C6,9A,8P9,CT1,SP5,PZ5,DJ0,OH9,YL2,US5,
HP3,G3
,OM3,EA1,OE1,JY9QJ,4X4,SL0,HA5,OK1,EI3,S51,A45XR,HI3,HB9,F6,PA0,EU6,LY2,LA
0,UA2
Got home 1:30 AM today and have gone through Mail and EMail... Cards are
coming in...
Even got a few more 160M confirmed with a new total of (78 on 160M) and
(260 Total Mixed)
Thanks again for all the help.. I specifically worked KG0US, KG0UT, KB0VVT,
K0OU, KU1CW, N0AG, K0BJ, KG0UA, AB0X and maybe a few others.. I'm
forgetting..sorry.. I think I heard Marty work K0XM and I saw him in the log
on 6 bands.. thanks Chuck. The spotting was very helpful as well..
especially the second day when people seem to be hard to find.
