Ya'll
Since we will be hosting the gettogether, I could put the 756 Pro II
on the antenna at meeting place. That would give the gang a good
chance to try it out.
I should mention to the club that I have seen the light. During the
CQWW 160 test I had my TS-870 on with the 2nd rx antenna going to the
IC-756 Pro II. I wish I hadn't done that!
It seems that when AE9B came on, my 870 was desensed and any signal
under s6-7 was GONE! Right along side it was the 756 Pro II with
perfect copy down to no s unit signals. The only way I could use my
870 was on the beverages where Toms' signal was attenuated. I even
turned all of the attenuation in on the 870 and it didn't help. I was
able to get as close as 500 Hz down from Tom and copy weak signals on
the 756 Pro II that weren't there on the 870 when Tom was tx'ing.
I had noticed this a month ago when N0XA was on, but couldn't find
enough signals at the time to compare and confirm it.
The 756 Pro II is quite a rig!

DAK> Lee,
DAK> Pass that 756 Pro II around and get the guys to give up
DAK> that Yeasu stuff and they can demo the gear while there. I know
DAK> you hate the pro for making you give up your Kenwood 870, that's
DAK> life dude.
