Charlie, Jim & All,

Bill's suggestion two days ago fixes the problem. Go back and read it over.

It works.

If you have placed  additional software like firewall protection, spy
ware/adware to cpu it seems to change settings on Acrobat. I don't know why,
but it makes it go back to default.

Bill notes the new 6.02 version has a slightly different wording, but un
click the fast internet read on preferences and it works. Earlier versions
of Acrobat were exactly as he described.
