tomorrow night.   Please also forward this to others that know Wilbur and
Doris but who you don't see listed in the e-mail "sent to" above.   I have
very few e-mail addresses for those in the local QCWA chapter, KCDXC and
JCRAC.

Jerry O. Smith

Jerry O. Smith, 46, Lenexa, KS, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the
home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at D.W. Newcomer's
Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Burial in Johnson County
Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Jerry was born March
20, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and lived in the Shawnee Mission area during his
lifetime. He was an electrician and had worked for various electrical
contractors in the area. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High
School in 1967 and then attended Johnson County Community College. Jerry was
a licensed Amateur Radio operator, call sign NOSWY, an avid storm spotter
for the Jo. Co. Emergency Communications Service and a past member of the
Shawnee Radio Amateur Communications Service. He enjoyed all types of
sports. Jerry was a loving son, father and husband. He is survived by his
wife, Rosemary Smith of the home; three children, Allison, Bryan and Kerri
Smith; three stepchildren, Leslie, Tyson and Jay Fisher; parents, Doris and
Wilbur Goll of Shawnee, KS; beloved sister, Cynthia J. Bonne; niece, Angela
Bonne; nephew, David Hasemeyer; stepbrothers, Bruce and Loren Goll; and
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. (Arrangements: D.W.
