Hi Guys,

Well, instead of a "Serious" contest effort I decided to just have fun
with this one. I looked at the Countries that I needed band-fills on,
made up my "wish list", & proceeded to search & pounce in the Single-Op,
Low power "Assisted" category this time.

Found a good turnout on 10 meters. CU, FS, FY, HI, HR, J8, PJ7, & ZP on
10 meters for Band Countries.

Didn't find CX, J7 , or TG where I needed them but there is always next
time.

Highlights were working T31MY for a new Country & working PJ2T on all six
bands. Great signals from PJ2 land 10 thru 80 & got very lucky with them
on 160.

Put 210 Q's in the log with 140 Mults for 88,200 points. Didn't work
everyone I heard just "pick & choose", mostly the guys sending 100 watts.
Would have liked to work the KH2, V51, & S9 for band fills but the pile
was just too deep.

There seemed to be some very aggressive operating techniques this
contest, more so than I had ever seen before, & some very unsportsmanlike
comments like "why don't you learn to speak English" & I don't care that
you are trying to work the SU9 I have been on this frequency
since..............

There were several especially unruly pileups where the DX called for a
specific portion of a callsign, & all these others keep calling. The
only station that really seemed to have a handle on the pile-up problem
was S9SS. He flat told the group it was going to be his way or not at
all. Worked "by the numbers" sequentially from One to Zero & that really
brought the comments from "7 landers" whining about losing the
propagation.

I had fun anyway. Just my 2 cents worth.
