The warning message was very similar to many of the hoax messages that =
make the rounds via email, but in this case it is correct. The latest =
variant of the SOBIG virus has been spreading rapidly over the last =
couple of days. It carries it's payload in a compressed in a .ZIP =
attachment which is very unusual.

Network Associates (the company that makes McAfee Antivirus) details it =
here..

http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100429.htm

It doesn't hurt to warn people about a particularly nasty new virus when =
it does in fact exist.

Normally, I don't do that. (It wasn't to everyone I
know)

However, I got the warning from a computer geek data
guru at a big firm in KC. Since I happen to be on
someone's address book there, I thought I would pass
on the warning.

Note taken. I won't make the same mistake twice.

Sorry for the intrusion.
