[KCDXC] Contest season

Well guys.. it's hard to beleive but contest season will be over before you
know you it.
Here's the run down for activities for the remainder of the year. Time
sneaks up huh?
If you can commit to one or more of the following contests please let your

Jan 25. CQ 160-Meter Contest, CW
I will be out of town for this one.. Since the rules for CQ include
Club competition is a "for fun" competition to foster more activity.
Just make sure you list the club correctly.. Who plans on Operating?

Feb 02  NA Sprint SSB (4 hour contest) Extremely fast paced but over before
you know it!
I could use some help this weekend getting the big 20M beam, tower and 40M
4-square back up.
Looking for volunteers! Would appreciate at least a few commitments
(no Bill you won't be banded from operating if you don't help.. but we could
use some smiling faces too)

Feb 09 CQ RTTY WPX
So far commitments from K0LW, NW0L, W0ZAP looking for a multi- something

Feb 16 ARRL DX CW
No commitments yet.. K0VBU and K0OU will be out of town.. KU1CW Alex.?. 20M
beam could be fun!!
We'll figure out the category after we get a few more committed..

Feb 23 NAQP RTTY
Small contest 10 hours.. not a killer

March 1 ARRL DX SSB
Marty and I will be in Curacao for this one.. If you find us..work us and
SPOT US!

March 30 CQ SSB WPX
Plenty of lead time on this one.. This was our BIG one last year... Looking
for another top finish.
MULTI-MULTI means lots of Operators.. Sign up early!

May 24 CQ CW WPX
Depending on the WX and events occurring in late May. we may try another
Multi here.
