Monk Apollo, SV2ASP/A, has been active over the past
week on 40 and 10 meters CW (Yes CW!). Stateside QSNs
show him on 7005 kHz after 0030z and as late as 0207z,
as well as 28022 kHz between 1315-1415z. Europe
reported him on 14022 kHz. Kostas, SV1DPI, states Monk
Apollo is expected to be active also on SSB and RTTY.
Veronica, W6/IK3ZAW, reports that Monk Apollo told her

he has made several attempts (during his free time) to
work U.S. stations on different bands, but his
reception is very poor from his area. Good openings 
do not usually coincide with his free hours which he
can spend on the radio. 
However, he reassured Veronica that he shall keep on
