Alan, bring up Acrobat separately, go to EDIT, then select PREFERENCES.
Select OPTIONS and then uncheck FAST WEB VIEW (third item down).  Click on
the OK button and then open the newsletter.  Worked for me.

BTW, did you reboot after downloading the upgrade?  It might do the trick.

Hi Bill,

Downloaded the Adobe Upgrade, followed the "fix" directions, opened the
newsletter & got the folloing Errors:

1st	Acrobat Reader
	Error reading linearized hint data

2nd	Acrobat plug-in
	Could not find Acrobat external window handler

Perhaps there may have been a "hic-up" during the Looooong download. 
Will try un-installing the 4.0 (which was working) and the 5.1 & downlaod it
again.
