Hi Guys,

This question is related to putting up a tower (30'/50' crank-up
(tilt-over) in Oak Grove.
 
Do I ask for a Building Permit from the City (big hassle with Special Use
permit and Zoning Variance)??  or just put it up and wait to see who
screams first.

Have already talked to all the neighbors within 200 feet of the property
lines and they all say they have no problem with the idea.  Just can't
decide if it is worth all the paper work.  

All the "old timers" I have spoke with all say they "just put theirs up",
but that has been many years ago.

It has been said "Easier to ask for Forgiveness than Permission".

Would like to hear from anyone with experience dealing with "the City".
