Good job Bob!
I have two hams new to the area at work and will try
to bring them to KCDXC. One just got his Tech ticket
and another moved from Colorado-NC0S. At least will
get them subscribed to reflector.
Club members- WPX CW is coming right after Dayton!
Lee and myself set up a 160/80 vertical at my
backyard-right in the middle of it... First CQ on
80m-KH6AT comes back,followed by K1B. Ain't to bad!
Did not call anybody on 160 yet. Have no radials-just
a grounding rod, and don't know if I really need some.
Any suggestions? SWR is 1:1 on 80 and 1:1,4 on 160 at
resonant freq. A lots of TVI too.
73! And have a good time at Dayton.
de Alex KU1CW.
