[KCDXC] Fw: [SMC] WEEKEND RADIO

Hey All-
I forwarded the WEEKEND RADIO as a notice to the list of what is going on.
I'm not overly interested in any of the individual contests, except to help
promote the activities. I will probably spend what operating time I have
this weekend working New England and Indiana stations - and maybe some DX.
If I submit a log to any of the sponsors I will be sure to note it as being
from a KCDXC member.
I might mention that I am also a member of the Society of Midwest Contesters
(SMC), and if that club is trying to accomplish a goal or win something, I
would submit my score for them (SMC). I cannot include my score with the SMC
in the ARRL and CQ sponsored contests since we are outside of the 175 mile
ARRL circle or the 225 mile CQ circle, but on the smaller state QSO parties
etc. I can be included.
I am very glad to see the KCDXC getting interested in the contests again. I
will continue to forward any announcements and activities that I am informed
of, along to this reflector, so the club can stay informed of what is going
on, on the air.
