I've had lots of calls, E-Mails, etc regarding coming out to visit, view,
etc.
I don't have any problem with that although seating will be limited.
If you're interested in seeing what a madhouse it could be... I'd recommend
this evening or tomorrow morning or evening. If you're looking for seat time
(operating time) best chance is late night.
Condition seem to be tremendous. I am so excited!!!
A solar storm hit earth last week and I was worried that all my efforts (and
that of many others) was going to be wasted or at least not maximally
utilized. Right now.. I have never heard better conditions. Been messing
with each of the stations except 80M (I can't even figure out how to turn on
the "audio Equipment" of W0BR) We'll need some hardcover reading on that no
doubt.. HI ANd have successfully contacted good quality DX on every band
without the amplifiers. Most recently HC8N on 80 and 160 (NO AMP 1st call).
The thunderstorms appear to be moving out of our area and won't be back
until Monday evening.. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT... Murphy can kiss my very
large_ _ _ this time. Actually I have had few problems with Murphy (but
haven't venture this deep before either). I hope all of the planning, and
work that everyone has put in over the last few months pays off big time.
Here's our reachable goal... (5000 QSO's and 1200 Multipliers) that will
put us over 10 million points and in contentin for a top 5 finish in the
USA. Those of you who have a direct line to god, now would be a good time to
put in a request. For the rest of us...
Oh might Propagation Gods.. please shine on Lone Jack this weekend..!!!
I look forward to seeing many faces.. I'll have a sign in sheet somewhere..
please sign it if you come in. I'll also have some local neighbors,
community members and friends stopping by duing the weekend. Please
introduce yourselves, answer any questioins they might have if I'm busy
doing something else.
The countdown begins... 12 hours and counting...
Oh yea.. I'll be home most of the day from here forward and expect at least
a few faces by 1 or 2 OClock.
