Well, the weekend is over and here's the series of events.
Borrowed a knee key for the weekend and will not be giving it back any time
soon.
I had an absolutely great time Mobile CW. I visitted 7 Field Day sites and
handed out flyers promoting the July 13th Event at Associated

Heart of America typical County shelter setting.. pretty decent
participation this year.. seemed like more ops than usual during the time
that I visitted.

Tonganoxie.. event stopped for photo OPs at the water tower and Tonganoxie
creek.
The Pilot Knob group had a real nice setting and good participation at their
field day. I have a small brochure from their club.

Douglas County ARC at Wells Overlook south of Lawrence. Great Hilltop site,
with good participation

Johnson County Club at Heritage PK.. Typical County park shelter type
setting

Southside ARC at Raymore Memorial PK shelter type setting but few people
there when I was there maybe 5 or 6.

Blue Springs ARC surprisingly good turnout (over 25 when I was there) at a
residence behind St. Mary's Hospital. Mostly social club with only a few HF
Ops.

Raytown ARC most well equipped field day site with plenty of antennas and
radios. Steve, Dave and the rest of the club do a nice job getting this
together. Setting has no cover and the sunburn on everyone showed it.

On the trip from site to site I worked Mobile CW. Sending and receiving
wasn't nearly a tough as tuning and hearing folks with 2.4K standard 706
filters ( note to self order new narrow filter)
Overall it was a nice weekend.. I never made it to Cleveland Missouri as I'm
pretty sure I know that setting and with a goal of passing out flyers for
the July 13th event at Associated, I'm pretty sure all the guys there know
when it is.

My CW total was 52 QSO's all Search and Pounce for 104 Points. Mostly 20
Meters with some 40M.
What a BLAST! Looks like I'll have something to do to and from work now...
