[KCDXC] Contest Awards

Well, here goes boys and girls. We will be having various awards for our =
members (that means KCDXC members in good standing) presented at our =
April meeting next year and hopefully each year. Alex and I are in =
charge and we are open to suggestions. However, we are both the judge =
and jury.

Tom, ae9b, will be sponsoring an award for "The most QSO's during the =
year". I am sure that it will be a well deserved award and worth =
keeping. I will sponsor and award for the most contests entered and logs =
submitted.

Some of the awards that will be considered are:
  a..     Most QSO's for the whole year (ae9b sponsor)
  b..     Most contest QSO's
  c..     Most contests entered and logs submitted (k0zm sponsor)
  d..     Newest contester with highest score
  e..     Highest total scores
  f..     Oldest and youngest contester
  g..     Highest high power total scores
  h..     Highest low power scores
  i..     etc. for example "baldest contester"
We are open to any suggestions. If you have any thoughts or want to =
sponsor an award, let me know. Sponsors should be willing and able to =
chip in for an award plaque.=20

However, to qualify for an award or certificate, you must submit a recap =
to me and officially enter a log with the contest committee.

The goal is to have fun and encourage participation.
