Let me throw in a couple of clarifications:
- First, there is no competition really as a club. You get to do all the
work and no glory! HI.
However, this year club operators get to count their QSOs to their personal
C2C count if they work another club.
- Second, this is a pretty low-key event, not intended to be an all-out 30
wpm contest style thing at all. Plenty of first-time or mediocre paddle
hounds (like me) operate as runners, so it's a great introduction to a new
style of operating.
- Lastly, and in the vein of the first two statements, your club doesn't
have to be on for the full 20 hours of the event. When and how and which
bands and how many operators you choose to field is completely up to you.
Some clubs only have 1 op to man the station.
So, hope KCDXC can join in the fun and if you have any other questions don't
hesitate to ask me.
