[KCDXC] WPX Update

Just a reminder that the WPX is about a month away.
I have been busy making improvements that I know will pay off.
I spend just about every weekend working on some facet of the system.
Last weekend Saturday, I picked up 60 feet of tower from K0LW (LEE) and a
huge 20M beam from Mike KD0FW. Sunday, W0ZAP (Rick) came out and installed
hardware and software on the three computers that are now here. He also
brought out his MP and a power supply. I tore down the old SO2R setup and
started getting the radios, AMPs, dunestars, and meters run with coax etc.

This weekend W0BR and W0ZAP plan to come out and help set up some more.
Everyone is welcome to come out. I have been thinking about how to expedite
things. You can each help me in the following way. If you have any equipment
which will end up here at my place for the WPX, please make it available as
soon as you can. If you don't plan to be using it between now and the WPX
bring it over and we'll get it put in place, run coax to it etc.. everything
takes time.

This is what I have:
K0LW- 2 KW Amps, 2-SWR meters, 1 coil, rotor cable, PL 259's
KD0FW- 1 coil, 2 baluns
W0BR- MP, AMP, Head Set, Footswitch, SWR Meter
K0OU- AMP, Head set, foot switch
KG0US- 775DSP, Head set, Footswitch, Computer, monitor
NW0L- Computer, headset, footswitch, SWR meter
W0ZAP- Computer
AA0FO- 40M (Comtek 4 square box and phasing lines)

I hope you all realize by now that the WPX weekend is Easter weekend. This
might cause some problems getting backup operators. I have the operators
below giving some commitments.

AA0FO (would like some 80M operation)
KI7WO (Open when he gets back)
KI0MB  (still waiting for confirmation)
KU1CW (Looking for Russia 10m, 15m AM)
KC0DLM (Open so far)
AE9B (2 hours on each band please)

We would like to have a pregame meal and take some pictures. So try to get
Good Friday off. Anyone with Special Diet needs please express them. We'll
do what we can.
