Count me in for both contests. I'm up for the ARRL DX CW contest and the
WPX SSB. Both happen at lulls in my busy season.

Subject: [KCDXC] Multi-Multi Contest
I just received my January Copy of CQ and it reminded me of the fun we had
last year for the WPX SSB contest. This year has been very busy but I said
last year I would be willing to try 2 contests from here this year so let me
see how the temperature is. Before I start putting up all the antennas
again, how many of you would be interested in participating in the following
2 Multi-Multi contests from AE9B? I recognized last year that several OP's
said they would preffer CW so how about these two.
1-ARRL Inter. DX Contest, CW 0000Z, Feb 15 - 2400Z, Feb 16
2-CQ WW WPX SSB in March 29th
My schedule is very tight too (with Holiday's , North Dakota Trip Jan. 2-6,
PJ2 Trip Feb.26-Mar. 3, so please let me know pretty quick.. like in the
next week or so. If there is not sufficient interest, I just won't be able
to put forth the effort required to get all that hardware set up. I would
love to do it again but it takes a commitment from lots of people. With 6
stations to operate.. there are a lot of seats to fill for 48 hours. Once I
get some commitments, I will attempt to assign band captains and work with
them to help fill the seats. I'm hoping, K0OU, K0VBU, KU1CW, KB0VVT, KG0UA
and other hot CW ops will say yes to the February invite. Please let me know
of your intentions either here on the reflector or personally at
[email protected] . Even if your answer is NO (or that you will NOT be able to
help out) please let me know where you stand.
For the record: Last years effort resulted in 1st in the Midwest, 4th in the
USA and 14th in the world. Not bad for a bunch thrown together equipment and
Ops that had never been together as a group before. Thanks for the thrills..
you want to try it again.. Let me know.
