Hello all,
I feel OK and am getting over the jetlag. I had to
leave earlier due to upcoming elections and announced
airport closure. I would like to inform you about the
results of the above DXPedition.
First contact was made on Nov. 22, 2002 at 15:40Z.
Operation was terminated on Dec. 9, 2002 at 22:38Z.
Total number of contacts - 16614. No contacts were
made on 160m and on RTTY.
I've participated in CQ WW DX CW Contest as SO/AB/LP
entry with 1463 contacts and claimed score of 893684
points. 76 QSOs were made on PSK-31. So, the grand
total is - 18153 QSOs.
At the present time I will be busy with work and
family related matters and with design of the QSL
card.
I will be looking for sponsors and financial
assistance from DX associations and donations from
individuals to offset the cost of the DXPedition and
QSL printing. So far all expanses were paid by myself.
I did not ask for any assistance before because a
single person DXPedition more likely would not be
supported in advance. If you have any ideas of
possible sponsors please E-Mail me direct
[email protected]
In the next couple of days I will send all needed
documents to ARRL to accept this operation for DXCC
credit.
I will handle QSLing by myself. In order to speed-up
this process please send one call sign per envelope
and separate the CQ WW CW Contest contacts from
others. Please also note that my local post office
refuses to accept the old style IRCs. I will discuss
this with the main post office. Please be patient
and if you've sent the card do not resend it as I do
not expect to finalize design and printing and start
distribution any earlier then in a few months.
Thank you for your calls and I hope you've got "an all
time new one."
73! Vitaly (VE6JO / 3C2MV)
