VE3DX has reported:

It looks as if I will be able to enjoy Christmas this
year after all.

The backlog of QSL requests for VP6DI is over. As of
the to-morrow outgoing mail all request to December
9th have been answered which means I cleared off all
of Oct, Nov, and the first week of Dec. mail last 
weekend. 

The US mail will not hit the USPO until Wednesday and
the overseas mail will go to Canada Post to-morrow.
Now all mail received by Thursday each week is
answered by Saturday morning and in the mail that
weekend.
