Tom says "I don't think I can compete with him this year". The day my friend
Tom Baugh does not compete is the day he dies.
I am still sore from that stroking he gave me last year.
We were essentially tied after Friday night.
We were tied on Saturday night with right at 740 QSOs a piece.
Tom officially ended up with 1502 QSOs while I ended with 1242 QSOs.
He not only beat me by 260 QSOs but he made more QSOs in the last day of the
contest, which is a shorter day by the way, than the entire day before.
I am still scratching my head as to how he did it. What is his secret.
For a little while I was wondering if Mr. Amplifier came out to play or
maybe DX Summit came to town.
While now that the smoke has cleared, I just need to accept the fact that
he just tore my butt up.
Well not really, I still have a lot left.
