[KCDXC] 160M Contest 1/2 Time

Well that was fun.
Didn't know the contest started so early. Missed an hour and had a tough
time squeezing in a spot the bands sure are busy! Got the rate over 150 for
a little while.. new high for me. First hour over 80 second over 90, not bad
for a fat boy. Had fun so far.. went to sleep from 6:00Z to 10:30 Z (never
was a night owl) but made a few more in the AM. No big DX that's for sure.
Did get an all time new one for me HI3K (let's see if I can get a card out
of him). Still missing RI, NNY, AK, VI, PR, LAX, NV, NL, MB, YT... Maybe
tonight will be better for the rarer ones. Only ZF, P40, HI, KH6 (so Far)
Still haven't heard KU1CW either... Huh? He's probably still going... Heard
Jerry W0WG on, what a pleasant surprise.. Where is he operating? BIG SIG
AWARD goes to KI7WO and KG0US. Is LW running QRP 817? I think Alex has his
AMP..

Tom   Gotta quit.  It was fun and the antenna worked!!  Spread radials
in neighbor's yards after dark last nite and tuning improved
considerably.  I'll get hte antenna down and back to you next week.
 Hope the rest of the contest is good for you.  117 Q's 33 sections 1

This has really been a lot of fun so far.. I'm looking forward to tallying
the results..
Sure is nice to be part of a team.. Keep on pushing guys.. Get an extra Q or
2 for the team..
But most of all have fun.
