[KCDXC] KCDXC meeting.

Tom (K0ZM),
Congratulations with your new assignment. Let's bring
KCDXC to the activity level we had during your
presidency and even higher...
 Yesterday at the club meeting there was a few, I
think good ideas:
1. Renew ARRL club membership.
2. To renew club Prize(Plaque) for the best score for
the KCDXC members.
 Mike(AB0X)- could you, please, give a little bit more
history and ideas on what would be the best? Also what
other good traditions we've lost?
3. Make a list of KCDXC 'preffered' contests, I would
say no more than 10-12, so people will know for sure
that there will be some club effort behind it . It's
does not mean that KCDXC score will not be submitted
in the other ones.
 Tom(AE9B)thank you for the input on that.Stay active
within KCDXC.By the way, I'm probably the youngest
KCDXC member.  
 Members! Please give some input on the number and the
names of the contests we should enter in this( all
modes) list.
 President! How much finances do we have for that?
Give us an idea how to make some $$$. I see Dayton as
one of the sources.May be try to promote/sell 'pile up
contest' file for the couple of $$$. I think I've
heard about some kind of KC antenna(gear box) system?
We can promote that at the Dayton suite-get some $$
and make people hear 'Kansas' more often. 
 I know that you have some dogs to look after, but
please get 1 HR a week for the club...  
 I will make a monthly 'coming contest' calendar, can
put some local events in it to. Please e-mail me if
there anything of the interest for te members.
