Looking back on the WPX SSB weekend from AE9B's all I can say is WOW. =
What an effort by all involved. The folks who put together the antenna =
system's over several weekends. The folks who got the stations ready to =
go. The assembly of the computers, rigs, amps, electrical hookups and =
making sure they all interfaced was for sure a chore.

All this happened with Tom's AE9B's vision of putting together a =
Multi-Multi station for anyone in the area to come out and enjoy. He had =
no restrictions other than come, participate and have fun. I will =
guarantee you that it was a commitment of time, effort and money. We saw =
a bunch of ham's, old and young, male and female, long time and new =
ham's having fun working quite possibly one of the most enjoyable =
contests every year.

When we passed the goal of 10,000,000 points on Sunday morning there was =
a celebration by all in attendance. This score will put us in the top in =
the world...not first...but in the top for sure.=20

Thank you Tom and Jeannie for putting up with us. I can only hope that =
you say..."Let's do it again". I bet the participation will grow even =
larger next time.
