[Kantronics] KAM+ problem

For reasons unknown my poor old KAM+ has decided to not switch to receive
when it connects to someone or someone connects to it. It finally just keeps
transmitting until it retries out.  Anyone have any ideals why this is
happening??  I have done several hard resets.
