[Kantronics] KAM Multimode Questions

I am in process of designing Amateur/RACES/MARS stations for my agencys
Emergency Ops Center.
I'm familiar with the KAMs of 12 years ago.
I'm deciding on new KAMs for my EOC, or soundcard interfaces for my
stations.
We will need to operate FM packet, Pactor, MT63, RTTY, AMSAT data modes, and
all of the other modes possible.

In my old KAMs, there were problems operating SSB with the KAM still
connected.  In the EOC environment, unplugging equipment won't pass muster.
I hope the new KAMs can be left connected to the transceiver.

Can we get the KAM to operate MT63 and other modes not in its firmware?
