[K6NCG] Special Event - sorta...

They moved me from one building to another (so they could tear the old one down)

I haven’t got my tower put back up since they did that. Hopefully soon. I have a nice Motorola Micom 2 that wants to use it!

In the meantime, I have a HF manpack that I can set up but I don’t do very well in these conditions lately.

Our Coast Guard Island ARC shack on the base in Alameda gets in to Michigan really well. It’s got a Force-10 beam.

I’ll talk to Pete WA6UDU about bringing his buddy-pole dipole out here to give this a try.

Hopefully, I’ll have that tower up soon. The concrete isn’t where I want it to be … yet.

…Otherwise, I could catch you on one of the FM, P25, or DMR networks pretty easy. Do you work any of those?
