BTW— my wife just asked a very good question.  Why are they raising the level of the island?  Sounds like a government boondoggle to me :-)

Hello to Paul, W4ARK.  I went through ET’A’ school from July, 1962 until May 1963. I went to CTM2 and got out after my four year enlistment was up.  When I was there, the shack was over on the edge of the bay, looking at Alcatraz.  I helped put up the 105 foot tower and tribander.

I think there is a website with K6NCG info on it.  I haven’t looked at it in a while.
