I remember hearing that 14.292 was a common frequency used by the club for phone patches. I usually look there first then try 3KHz up or down when I'm looking for a frequency. That's what I'll do this weekend. The Island event is Friday night to Saturday night. On 40 Meters, I try 7.292 first (unless anyone else remembers a historic frequency that club members would remember.) I do have one alum from the club, Pete WA6UDU nearby, though I haven't tried to recruit him yet. DC On May 8, 2015, at 1:33 PM, Michael S. We worked a lot of stations from NMC1 yesterday. By the time I got back to the Island, the band had flattened out. I apologize for the short notice. I'm going to look deeper into the schedule so that we can get a more dedicated effort into running a station from here. I'd really like to work you guys and put K6NCG on the air. Does anyone know the date that the club was founded or any other significant dates in the club history that we could tie an event to? Also, let me know if any of you are in the area. I'd love to show you around the island. The city has been busy out here. Let's get a plan together for a real event and pull this off. I was trying to do too much on short notice yesterday. 73 de Desmond, KC6VHG On May 10, 2015, at 7:39 AM, "Charlie Kotan" wrote: > Darn, my digest from the list just came last night, so I missed the chance > to QSO.
